Customer Rating: Summary: Great Deal / Comfortable Shoes Comment: These shoes were a great deal and are very comfortable, especially for walking, since i have bad knees. I am sure they probably will be good for jogging, as well. This version 6 is a little bit more snug on the foot than the version 5 and therefore fit a little differently, but for the cost, it is a great deal. They are loosening up a little bit. I wear size 13, but would maybe have bought 13.5 if i could have found them... but now, i think the 13 are fine. Hope this helps. God Bless you. Customer Rating: Summary: Big Boy with Flat Feet and 3 Casts Under His Belt Gives a Thumbs Up! Comment: My son is very big for his age. At 13 he is 5'7" and over 180 lb and growing. He was born with flat feet but they seem to have worsened from him having 3 breaks either in feet or ankles during his childhood. Wearing casts caused the feet to atrophy. Exercise helped but didn't seem to quite make up for the problem. Until now I have had him in sturdy leather New Balance shoes... partly for the support and partly because that is a really tough shoe for a boy who lives in the country and wears it non-stop. Now that he is a teen, I thought I would just try something different. He is very happy with these shoes. For the first time the shoes aren't just acceptable, but actually feel GREAT. I ordered a half-size bigger than I normally would. He has a tiny bit of room to grow but people do say they run just a bit smaller than the size.
They seem sturdily made also. An excellent choice for those of us with flat feet! Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic shoe Comment: You can't beat these shoes for the price. Actually, they are more comfortable than my much more expensive Nike Shocks. Light, comfortable, fit perfectly, im very happy with my purchase. I'll be buying more Brooks shoes in the future. Customer Rating: Summary: Great shoe, awesome price Comment: This shoe really rocks. For those that want a shoe that gives the user maximum protection, and stylish looks the Brooks Trance 6 is the shoe for you. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Stability Shoe Comment: The Trance 6 is a nice combination of stability and cushioning. I'm a heavy (200+ lb, over 6-foot, size 13 feet) runner, moderate overpronator, medium-to-low arches. Also have recently used Nike Equalons, Asics Kayanos, and other stability shoes. The Trance 6 ranks high in this group. After a run, legs and knees feel great.
