From the supplier: The Thessaloniki International Film Festival is known for its support of films that explore political themes. In 1997, the festival featured four independent films that tackle political matters in innovative ways. The films are 'Vertical Love' by Cuban director Arturo Sotto, 'Jugofilm' from Yugoslav director Goran Rebic, 'Somersault in a Coffin' from Turkish director Dervis Zaim, and 'No Budget Story' from Greek director Renos Haralambidis. All four films should appeal to American audiences.
