Comment: Yet another book detailing the page then squire to knight. Focus is on the middle ages but goes into modern knighthood. I like it. Rented it from a library.

Summary: Good info, but not a favorite book
Comment: This book is full of interesting facts, good illustrations but seems either too long with the additional stories of a few knights or too short because it touches on a few King Arthur knights but not all, seems to leave ya wanting more out of the book. It is more for kids that can read for themselves. I skip this book for bedtime stories as it is pretty dry and my son wants to read something else.

Comment: I bought this for my 6-year-old grandson, who loves to play with knights and dragons. Great pictures and lots of information presented without a lot of words. I learned a lot, too! Gail Gibbons' books are terrific!
